Romidot Vision Line (High resolution Camera lines)
Romidot Vision line designed and built to supply the optimal solution for the Aluminum Profile industry aiming to produce more complex shapes, tighter tolerances and smaller order/batch sizes. The Vision technology, as a result is a system with considerable improvements in sample preparation, accuracy, speed and compatibility with industrial environment in close proximity to the extrusion-press.
Romidot Vision line combines the established software applications of Romidot with state of-the-art optical technology. This technology utilizes camera technology with a state-of-the-art Tele-centric optical lens that integrated to a high resolution camera, LED illumination rings, Granite Horizontal or Horizontal & Vertical slab, connected to Heavy duty industrial profiles construction with special shocks-observers and high performance computer installed with Win 10 64bits OS.
The construction of the Vision system is extremely accurate with a granite slab as a base for the optical construction. The granite slab ensures an optical construction that is always stable at varying temperatures and surroundings environments that typical to the Aluminum production floor, and the Vision machine is constructed for continuous operation in harsh production environment around the clock.
In Vision-H type, the camera and lens are horizontally mounted in-line with the inspected profile, and in Vision-V type the camera and lens is vertically mounted in-line with the inspected profile that placed on the glass of the machine table, perpendicular to the optical axis.
The large-diameter lens of 300 mm, allows in a single snap-shot to acquire a large cross-section profile up to 240 x 180 mm, however, for larger profiles, the cradle carrying the sample may move on a precision guideways and the image acquisition is performed by two snap-shots up to 8 snap-shots, for cross-section up to 640×400 or 4 snap-shots for 700×240 mm.
For larger in size profiles, that exceed the acquisition area of the Vision machine, an integrated software application Romidot Combined Parts allows to check and measure profiles that their size even larger than 1,000 mm!
For miniature and very small or thin Aluminum profiles as, MMV-Heat Exchangers, Sun- Roof rails, Door protection beams, products aiming for the Automotive and Electronic industries, Romidot designed especially the Romidot Vision-H120 and Romidot Vision-H120 Co-Extrusion models, Desktop machines, utilizes a high resolution camera technology with a state-of-the-art Medium size – diameter lens of 116mm Tele-centric optical lens.
The Vision line normally is supplied with the Belt-Sander as standard and does not require the Special Sample Saw machines, but for very slims and thin profiles, made of soft alloys, Romidot SM-420U saw machine maybe used to avoid deformation and to achieve clean non obstructed surface.
Romidot Vision systems come integrally with the best engineering application for automatic inspections and automatic SPC application that allows in “one click” to get full SPC report and Graph from several types.
The concept that developed by Romidot for the profile industry, intends to connect the RomiShape and the Vision systems to the corporate network of the plant, and allow all the relevant users, to link and share the date in a real-time from the production floor. This provides an instant monitoring of the production quality situation with the Software applications.
